Q: How to measure the size of my cane?

Method 1 - Measuring an Existing Cane:

Measure the length from the top of the cane's handle to the bottom of its rubber tip. Then, round this measurement up to the nearest half-inch.

Method 2 - Measuring the Cane User:

  1. Ensure the user has shoes on.
  2. The user should stand upright in a comfortable, natural position.
  3. Allow the user's arms to hang naturally at their sides, with elbows slightly bent.
  4. Measure from the bottom crease of the wrist joint down to the floor using a tape measure. To ensure accuracy, it's recommended that someone else reads the measurement to prevent the wrist from moving. Round this measurement up to the nearest half-inch.

Method 3 - Based on User's Height:

Simply divide the user's height (in inches) by 2. This method provides an approximate cane length.
